The Nationwide Studios Story

In 2011, Legacy Studios was founded in Buffalo, NY with a mission of servicing the K-12 School Portrait Market and providing unparallel service to parents and schools. By 2014, that mission fueled Legacy Studios expansion in to 13 states. In 2015, we acquired the Nationwide Studios brand which now comprises a Kindergarten thru University Division branded Legacy Studios and a preschool division branded by Teddy Bear Portraits.

Along the way, with a focus on innovation, we developed advanced technology that transformed our customer’s experience. Today, our family of brands has expanded to include Sanford Studios, Piedmont Portraits, Laugh Outloud Portraits, Now and Forever Studios and Generations Studios.

Servicing some of the Nation’s most respected universities such as Harvard University, Howard University, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Georgetown University, Providence College and others, parents across the United States utilize Nationwide Studios from Pre-school thru College Graduation. We are also proud to be exclusively providing photography coverage and official portraits for the Nation’s most admired military academies – The United States Military at West Point and The United States Naval Academy. A first for a studio to work with both academies.
